Location

New Cabell Hall / Language Commons / Rm 298 Charlottesville, VA 22904

Description

As part of on-going training offered through the Digital Accessibility Project (DAP), please join Kristine Neuber, IT Accessibility Coordinator from George Mason Univ as she describes the practices she employs to conduct manual and functional testing of digital assets.

As you are aware, automated testing of web pages and other digital assets by AMP, WAVE, or other online tools, uncover - at best - 30% of potential accessibility issues. Manual/functional testing is required to assure these assets meet WCAG standards compliance and will be usable by the broadest audience possible.

Kristine will demonstrate her methods and then you will have an opportunity to experiment with these processes and tools.

This event will be held in the Language Commons in New Cabell Hall. Lunch will be provided.

Attendance is limited! Please register early.
